The “Wooga Squad” Reveals What They Have Been Up To Lately
It’s been a long time, but the whole Wooga Squad is finally together again!
Today, BTS‘s V, Park Hyung Sik, Park Seo Joon, and Peakboy guested on A Midsummer Night’s Dream, an on-tact fan meeting. Here their close friend, award-winning actor Choi Woo Shik, celebrated his 10-year anniversary in the entertainment business.
Between busy work schedules, Park Hyung Sik’s military service, and COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, this Wooga Squad reunion is a long time coming. After they arrived on set with cake and flowers for him, Choi Woo Shik asked his friends to talk about their current activities.
Park Seo Joon is currently filming a new movie, Concrete Utopia. This disaster film follows the survivors of a devastating earthquake as they journey to the last safe haven in Seoul, Hwanggoong Apartment. The film co-stars Park Seo Joon, Lee Byung Hun, and Park Bo Young.
V is preparing for his July comeback with BTS. On July 9, BTS will release a new single CD, featuring “Butter” and its instrumental, as well as a brand new song, “Permission to Dance.” The instrumental for “Permission to Dance” will also be on the CD.
Like Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik is working on a new project, a K-Drama called Happiness. Park Hyung Sik plays a detective who is trying to protect others, including his high school friend and love interest, Yoon Sae Bom (Han Hyo Joo), in the midst of a deadly outbreak. Choi Woo Shik pointed out that Park Hyung Sik came directly to the fan meeting after filming Happiness.
As for Peakboy, he’s working on new music behind the scenes. “I’m putting my album together, working on new music,” he said. “Yeah, that’s what I’m up to these days.”
