BTS’s V Often Contacts Min Hee Jin And Worries About Her, Says Former CEO
In her latest interview, Min Hee Jin revealed how close her friendship with BTS‘s V really is.
Despite the ongoing feud between herself and HYBE — BTS’s parent label — Min shared that V has taken the time to contact her and ask how she’s doing amidst the chaos.
The feud with HYBE received its most recent update earlier today when the Seoul Central District Court dismissed the injunction request she had filed against HYBE. Regardless of the loss, Min Hee Jin still continued with a scheduled interview with popular music critic Kim Young Dae.

During the interview, she discussed her press conferences and revealed that V often contacts her, even though he has been busy with his military schedule. V reaching out made her extremely thankful to the idol due to what she’s currently going through.
V sometimes calls from the military. It’s to the point where I wonder, ‘Is he really in the military?’ He’s doing so well there, and he’s always been such a bright kid. We talk informally with each other. He’s genuinely so bright and playful. Even though I’m going through difficult times, he still says things like, ‘You’re okay, right?’ with such innocence. He also mentioned he felt a bit unsure about when to reach out. And he even texted me at dawn on my birthday.

Min spoke highly of V’s friendship as the idol once again, proving his warm and kind personality. She even revealed that the idol had once asked her if “revealing her true self to the world” in such a manner was a good idea for her.
[V] is really affectionate. I was so touched, and it’s because he has such a kind heart that he does things like this. I was just genuinely grateful. At that time, V told me, ‘I wondered if it’s okay for you to reveal your true self to the world like this.’ But I was holding back a lot in that situation. I tried to speak with some respect, at least.
