A new dance video featuring BTS‘s V just made ARMYs’ day a thousand times better. But fans aren’t the only ones taking note of the collaboration.
On November 28, choreographer and dancer Lee Jung Lee posted an Instagram video of her and V dancing to the song “What’s Your Fantasy” by Ludacris (feat. Shawna). In it, V shows off his jaw-dropping dance skills and athletic physique while hitting every beat.

ARMYs have flooded the comment section with praise, but the most popular comment (with over 300k likes) is from the man himself. V wrote, “Ha…I’ll do the dance again next year.” One of the replies to his comment is from the musician Levi (real name Jin Seong Hyuk).
Levi and V have been friends since high school. The two have also worked together professionally. Levi co-wrote and co-produced V’s song “Blue & Grey,” which was originally intended for V’s solo album. Instead, “Blue & Grey” became a fan-favorite song on BTS’s 2020 album BE.

In reply to V, Levi wrote, “You’re in great shape, man.”
Some netizens were quick to point out Levi’s word choice. He referred to V as “총각” (chonggak), which can mean “bachelor.” In English, “bachelor” refers to an unmarried, single man. As such, some netizens joked that Levi outed V’s relationship status.

In this context, in which Levi compliments V’s body, “총각” is often used to playfully describe youth or vitality (e.g. young man, guy) rather than someone’s relationship status. Even so, many fans are totally ready to take “Bachelor V” off the market!
