BTS V’s Love For Bing Crosby Comes Full Circle
Anyone who knows BTS‘s V knows that he is a huge fan of jazz.
CD! There are so many jazz songs I want to recommend but I don’t know the song titles..
— V
I think it’s a great blessing to be able to be moved by Jazz
— V
He has even been learning more about the genre, including playing the trumpet.

V has many jazz musicians he admires. Yet, there’s one he has frequently expressed his love for. It’s none other than American singer and actor Bing Crosby.

This is my favorite video [in existence]/the best video of my entire life. And I am now sharing it with you all
— V
The idol has posted about the famous “Now You Has Jazz” scene from the 1956 classic film High Society, featuring Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong, on both Twitter and Instagram.

Like a true fan, V has also used iconic Bing Crosby song lyrics for photo captions.

Again, V showed his admiration for the musician during his recent vlog. In his driving playlist, he featured “It’s Been a Long, Long Time,” sung by Bing Crosby.
Bing Crosby’s estate took notice.
The social media accounts created by his estate account in memoriam of Bing Crosby, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, all shared the clip of V listening to “It’s Been a Long, Long Time.”
Additionally, the account followed V’s personal account on Instagram.
The video of V was even pinned on the Twitter account.

The social media manager even took time to reply to some comments from ARMYs. They said they believed Bing Crosby would be ARMY if he were still alive today.
Bing would be a part of the #BTSARMY for sure 🫰 https://t.co/e3h6AfjYct

They also couldn’t help but wish that V and Bing Crosby could collab. We can dream, at least.
Agreed! Anything is possible 👀 #BTSARMY https://t.co/4p9hVC4hcK

While V can’t technically be noticed by his idol (he passed in 1977), it’s still awesome that Crosby’s estate is recognizing him!
