At the 2017 Seoul Music Awards, BTS‘ V was greeted by a familiar face and couldn’t hide his excitement at the sight of them.
Fans of Hwarang and BTS were gifted with a mini-reunion between the idol and actor Park Seo Joon. Park Seo Joon presented the “Record Of The Year Award” to BTS after they were announced as the winners.
V couldn’t contain his happiness when he and his members received the award, but even more so that his Hwarang co-star was the one to present it to him!
After receiving the award, V was so thankful to his fans and Park Seo Joon that he went on BTS’ Twitter and expressed his gratitude.

“Yesterday was a very meaningful day to us and I wanted to thank ARMYs. The hyungs used to say that it would be amazing if we we won an award and they happened to be the ones giving it to us. That’s exactly what happened yesterday. When Seojoon hyung gave us the award himself it felt unreal and amazing at the same time. We thank you ARMYs so much for giving us such a great award. And we love you and we thank you for trusting and following us. Also thank you and I love you ARMY for making it possible for me to film the drama Hwarang and meet great people.”

Hwarang is currently on air and stars Park Seo Joon, V, Minho from SHINee, Park Hyung Sik and Go Ara.
The drama has aired 10 episodes so far and is scheduled to air the finale in late February. So fans can still watch it and catch V and Park Seo Joon before it ends!
