BTS’s V “Threatens” ARMYs To Post Vlogs, But It Backfires Hilariously
It looks like BTS’s V can’t get enough of vlogging content from ARMYs, and he is ready to go to extreme ends to get his hands on more.
The singer’s obsession with watching “ARMY Vlogs” only became public after he mentioned it on Weverse a year ago.
V: I’m watching videos of ARMYs
Fan: What video? I want to watch too
V: [Video link]
V: I teared up while watching
During recent livestreams, he again mentioned watching fans’ vlogs, subtly hinting them to post more.
V even specified that he likes to watch slice-of-life content instead of album unboxing type of videos. He prefers to see how ARMYs spend their days rather than watching just their hands unbox products.

He also recently shared a screenshot of his YouTube watch history, showing that he has been watching all the fan-posted content religiously.
Despite this declaration, it seems that the singer runs out of content to watch pretty often, as he keeps asking ARMYs to post more. In fact, amidst his promotions for Layover, V has also launched a Weverse event where ARMYs can upload their vlogs for a chance to win special gifts!

V’s efforts so far to obtain more vlogs were mostly deemed endearing and funny to fans. But his negotiations have progressed to a “stricter” method with fans to get his content.
After his album’s release, V has hosted a few streaming parties on Stationhead, where he interacts with fans in real time. During the Stationhead session on September 14, KST, he kept asking ARMYs to start uploading their vlogs, drawing hilarious reactions from fans online.

armys: h-
taehyung: can you make a vlog about it instead— ayesha (@whooperjin) September 8, 2023
He then followed it up with a “threat” that if they didn’t post vlogs, he would start posting only his hands and feet on social media without showing his face.
please participate in V’s event, he really wants to see ARMY content 😭 pic.twitter.com/KURrP7ZoZZ

But it looks like instead of being threatened, fans are excited at the prospect. Given the amount of times BTS members have accidentally made the phrase “FOR FREE?” trend this year, it won’t be hard for them to handle the dire consequences. ARMYs were quick to start joking that he was going the wrong way to negotiate for vlogs, as it could very well have the opposite effect.
does he know this works as a reverse motivation or… https://t.co/af7PkAP40I pic.twitter.com/Ep7vahECnr
