NewJeans Ignored? Video Of BTS’s V “Calling Out” HYBE’s Bang Si Hyuk Resurfaces Amid Allegations
On May 13, reports came from NewJeans‘ parents amid ADOR‘s feud with HYBE about how founder Bang Si Hyuk treated the members.
According to the reports, the members’ parents explained that Bang Si Hyuk would often “ignore” the members.
Whenever the NewJeans members encountered Bang Si Hyuk in the company building, we wondered why Bang Si Hyuk would pretend not to recognize the members and turn a blind eye to their greetings.

After the news was posted, a resurfaced clip of BTS’s V started gaining attention online.
In the clip, the members are given a chance to voice their grievances, and V chooses to share his feelings with Bang Si Hyuk. The idol explained he was going to the store with RM.
On the way back, they bumped into Bang Si Hyuk and they greeted him.
But when they greeted him, Bang Si Hyuk turned to RM and asked, “Who are you?”
According to V, this happened for a year.
When the clip of V resurfaced online, netizens shared their thoughts and anger towards the way Bang Si Hyuk has seemingly treated some of his artists. Although there is no certain link, many pointed out that it could be why V and NewJeans have seemed to be close in the past, but most just share their sadness that all these idols have seemingly had negative experiences.

Of course, netizens are speculating by comparing the two clips, and there is no clear link between the two situations between the groups and the way Bang Si Hyuk treats them. Yet, with all eyes on the situation between HYBE’s Bang Si Hyuk and ADOR, it isn’t surprising that clips are resurfacing and gaining attention.
