It’s been replaced.

ARMYs are calling on YouTube, BIGHIT MUSIC, and Geffen Records to restore BTS V‘s YouTube channel.

The BTS members do not have their own YouTube accounts. They have the shared account BANGTANTV for various content, including behind-the-scenes videos, interview shows, and more. Their music videos are posted on HYBE LABELS‘ account.

However, YouTube does have auto-generated individual “topic” channels for each BTS member. V’s had actually garnered 2M subscribers.

A topic channel is created for an artist when they have a significant presence on YouTube. If an artist doesn’t have a topic channel, it may be because: There are only a few videos from the artist. The artist’s videos do not have many views.

Yet, it has now disappeared. Another channel has replaced it with significantly fewer subscribers, disappointing ARMYs. So, they are alerting YouTube and V’s labels to restore the original channel. This comes just before his new single “FRI(END)S” release.

At this time, the new channel for V is still the one listed among the BTS members on the BANGTANTV YouTube account.
