BTS World will be discontinuing its service at the end of December, becoming the second BTS game to become discontinued.
In a statement shared on BTS World’s official forum in English, Netmarble announced the conclusion of the game’s services. The game is also no longer downloadable from the Play Store or App Store.

BTS World has previously released its final chapter of the game, Chapter 22, on June 2, 2022. This meant that there would be no more updates to the game, and Netmarble even made the game a bit easier as a thank you to fans, increasing the drop-rate for 5-star cards and providing more gems to players. They also opened up the DNA store and made it so every card was available to purchase, not just a select few.
Fans are asking for NetMarble to release an archive of the content BTS filmed and recorded specifically for the game, as many users have not yet completed the game.
Does a content archive exist? It’s upsetting to think about how much will be lost—from the card photos, to the storylines most people never got to play to :/

Thankfully, there is still nearly four months for ARMY to continue playing the game. Back in June 2020, SuperStar BTS ended its service after being widely downloaded and lauded for its play style and card-collecting system.
