Cha Eunwoo Reveals He Has Been In A Relationship Before
Cha Eunwoo revealed the story behind his first and last relationship on a recent episode of Happy Together 4.
The idol began by explaining that he made a promise to his father not to date until he entered college.
“There was a promise I made to my father. He told me, ‘Study hard and meet a nice girl in college. Don’t date before that,’ so I said okay.”

When Cha Eunwoo was in high school, however, many of his school’s senior female students apparently came to his classroom to see him.
“(The female students) came to our classroom to see me. But I felt very pressured about this.”

When this happened, Cha Eunwoo became worried that he may not be able to keep the promise he made with his father, so he confessed that he ran away when the students came to see him.
“I was worried I might break the promise with my father and my heart would grow weak so when they would come to see me through the back door, I’d run out through the front door and not come back until the bell rang.”

As a result, he was even called “full of himself” by the female students at his school.
“Because of that, rumors began to spread that, ‘Lee Dongmin (Cha Eunwoo’s real name) is full of himself.'”

Despite his promise with his father, however, Cha Eunwoo confessed that he has been in a relationship in the past and he was the one to ask her out.
“I’ve been in a relationship just once. I confessed my feelings to her first.”

He then explained how he confessed his feelings for her.
“I didn’t know how to express my feelings. So I wrote (in a text message), “How do you feel about me?’ Then she replied, ‘How about you?’ So I said, ‘I like you,’ and we dated for awhile.”

In this way, Cha Eunwoo began his first and last relationship but the couple apparently grew apart as the idol was busy practicing as a trainee.
“Because I was a trainee, we ended up (growing apart).”
