BL K-Drama Star “Exposes” Hong Seok Cheon For Once Hitting On Him In Itaewon
Hong Seok Cheon is known as Korea’s most famous gay TV personality. He recently invited actor Cha Joo Wan to guest on his show, Hong Seok Cheon’s Treasure Chest.
Cha Joo Wan recently starred in Love For Love’s Sake, a BL K-Drama also featuring Lee Tae Vin.
He was also in aespa’s music video for “Thirsty.”
On the show, Cha Joo Wan shared an episode about how he had been working part-time in Itaewon, when he was stopped by Hong Seok Chun. Itaewon is known to house both party-goers and famous gay bars and clubs.

Hong Seok Cheon had asked him out for some ramyun, which could be easily misunderstood as the famous Korean pickup line, “want to eat some ramyun before you go?” Thankfully, things were cleared up. Hong Seok Cheon had been referring to a famous ramen place nearby. Although the place was closed and they didn’t get to eat any, Hong Seok Cheon asked Cha Joo Wan out for drinks instead!
Cha Joo Wan still remembers the episode clearly, although it has been nearly 5 years since it happened. Hong Seok Cheon must have left a great impression!
