JYP Entertainment’s Changes To Artists’ Divisions Fail To Impress
JYP Entertainment has made some changes to its internal divisions.
For larger agencies with more idols under their label, the groups are usually divided into separate sections that handle their promotions. For example, SM Entertainment has its artists under different “centers” with their own staff.
JYP Entertainment has a similar internal structure, with its artists divided into divisions. Most of its Korean idol groups are under Divisions 1-3, which have not always pleased fans with their management.

Fans also noticed there had been some internal restructuring, including a change to the divisions. Instead of just being called Division X, the divisions have now been given actual names. Division 1 is now known as ONE Label, Division 2 is now STRIDE, and Division 3 is now BLU:M.
Those that are fans of groups under JYP have reacted to this change with less than impressed feelings, especially shading ONE Label for its lack of creativity. Many have expressed that this change doesn’t matter unless others come along with it.

Div1, you don't need a new name, you need fresh blood, creative ideas and spending money on promoting your artists. https://t.co/ZuZG2yJYJp
