ARMYs Recognize BTS Sound In New Charli D’Amelio Video On TikTok
Did Charli D’Amelio just join the BTS ARMY?
Teenage American dancer Charli D’Amelio is the most followed content creator on TikTok with 137.7 million followers, and she recently used a BTS sound in her latest video.
Charli uploaded a vlog from her getting ready for TIME’s 2022 Women of the Year Gala. The event was held at Spago L’exterieur in Beverly Hills, California, on March 8.
The song she chose as the video’s background music was a remix of BTS’s hit single “Blood Sweat & Tears” from the 2016 album Wings.
Naturally, the video instantly went viral, and just a few hours after uploading, it already has over 4 million views and nearly a million likes.
Whether it was because of Charli’s own star power or her song usage, that may remain debatable. Still, there’s no denying she chose a great song.
The sound Charli used is ARMY Jinnie (@arisufanpage)’s remix titled “Streets x Blood Sweat & Tears – TikTokTunes & Sped Up.” It’s been used in 251.1K videos as of today. While initially used by K-Pop fans, it has blown up on TikTok being used by mainstream TikTokers, especially dance accounts.
ARMYs on TikTok have been excited to see the sound blow up, especially now that Charli used it as she has the most followers on the video-sharing app.
It certainly wouldn’t be a shock if Charli is indeed ARMY, too, as one of the other most-followed creators on TikTok is a proud ARMY. Read more below:
