The saga continues for SEVENTEEN‘s Vernon and English singer Charli XCX!

Last year, Vernon revealed in an interview with W Magazine that he is an avid listener of Charli XCX’s songs. It didn’t take long for her to notice and respond on Twitter, saying, “Omg hi love u and ur exceptional taste.” Unfortunately, Vernon didn’t see her tweet until several weeks later. He replied with a regretful tone.

Luckily, that isn’t the end of the story! Charli XCX recently released the track “Beg For You” and asked her followers who she should invite for a remix.

SEVENTEEN fans used the opportunity to mention Vernon.

And their wishes were quickly answered! On February 8, Charli XCX tweeted, “How do I get in touch with Vernon??”

She proceeded to tag SEVENTEEN’s official Twitter account and explicitly say that she wants to collaborate with him.

Fans naturally expressed their excitement over the tweets. To avoid Vernon’s previous mistake, they began trending “VERNON WAKE UP.”
