Cheating Korean Actor Kang Kyung Joon And His Mistress Disappear, Even Their Companies Can’t Find Them
Actor Kang Kyung Joon, who was recently accused of infidelity, has reportedly gone into hiding with Ms. A, the woman he allegedly has an affair with.
Kang, who is married to actress Jang Shin Young, reportedly became close with “A” while working together at a sales agency. But when Korean news outlets revealed that Ms. A’s husband had sued the actor last month for ₩50.0 million KRW (about $38,100 USD) in damages, the two disappeared.
According to their agency, both Kang and Ms. A have been absent from work since January 4 without any notification. The company had demanded an explanation from the two, and in response, they only said it was a misunderstanding. But since then, the company has been unable to contact either of them. Ms. A, who was a regular employee of the agency, was sent a notice of dismissal, while Kang Kyung Joon, who was in a temporary position, was notified of his retirement. Yet, neither of them has responded.
Meanwhile, after the initial reports of Kang’s lawsuit emerged in the media earlier this month, his agency, K-Star Global Ent, confirmed that the actor had received a notification of the complaint but said it looked like a misunderstanding and that they would respond accordingly.
However, on January 8, some media outlets revealed some of the messages exchanged between Kang and Ms. A, which included illicit messages like “I want to hug you,” “I love you,” and “I’m thinking of you.” Following the reports, the agency responded by saying they couldn’t comment on the issue since it was related to the actor’s personal life.

They also added that Kang’s exclusive contract with them expired in October 2023, and they were in talks about an extension, which is now being halted.
Kang Kyung Joon married Jang Shin Young in 2018, and they have two sons. The two gained popularity as a couple while appearing on shows like SBS’s Same Bed, Different Dreams, and KBS2 TV’s The Return of Superman. Kang had built a loving husband image through these shows, which has made the news of his infidelity all the more shocking to fans.
