Chinese Dad Transforms Into Sexy K-Pop Idol By Listening To Netizens’ Advice

The Gen Z father began filming dance videos with his shy daughter, hoping she would build more courage. In one video’s caption, he asked viewers to help him teach his child more so she won’t be deceived by yellow hair in the future. “Yellow hair” is an expression referring to “men who like to seduce girls and steal others’ lovers” in Chinese culture.
Most of the account’s videos have been the same type of content. The dad will try to dance behind his shy daughter, and sometimes she’ll join in.
While the dancing wasn’t intended to be professional, netizens began to make suggestions to the dad. They told him, “Uncle, you should wear a cap and a mask.”
Sure enough, the next day, he did just that. He wore a black cap, mask, and turtleneck, transforming his appearance. Netizens joke that “a black mask is any man’s best plastic surgery.” Still, netizens had another suggestion: “Don’t look at the camera and push your cap down.”
Again, he took the advice. The dad also put the phone on the ground so it would focus on his lower body, giving his videos a sexy vibe.
The final suggestion was to add ambient lights and film in front of a white background, totally changing the video’s aesthetic so much that the netizens joke the videos are no longer about the daughter. Instead, she’s like a “watermark in the corner.”
The changes happened in less than a month. He’s not just garnering more attention online. The dad reported that the best result is that “his wife rekindled her passion for him!”
