Dispatch Unleashes Estranged Celebrity Couple’s Scathing Private Messages
Choi Dong Suk and Park Ji Yoon‘s divorce just got a lot messier.
On October 17, Dispatch revealed damning messages from the ongoing divorce between Choi Dong Suk and Park Ji Yoon. In some messages, the estranged couple can be seen arguing over optics and public opinion about their separation.
- Choi Dong Suk: Don’t say things like I made it obvious or that I attacked you on Instagram.
- Park Ji Yoon: I am only saying that because your Instagram post went viral and people’s comments have been brought up to me.
- Choi Dong Suk: You’ve been babbling on about us to at least 15 people.
- Park Ji Yoon: Did those people tell the whole country? Did they post something that went viral?
- Choi Dong Suk: So just don’t say those things.
- Park Ji Yoon: How is a private conversation the same as a public post? Are you even considering the facts?
In another conversation, the couple bicker about infidelity accusations.
- Choi Dong Suk: Look! That hoobae is the person that saw you with another man.
- Park Ji Yoon: I know.
- Choi Dong Suk: He then took a photo of you guys and messaged me asking if this was okay.
- Park Ji Yoon: That’s why I am saying he is weird.
- Choi Dong Suk: I mean, if we’re talking about extremes here, in his point of view, it can look like you’re messing around.
- Park Ji Yoon: Did I go on a date with him? An employee of a business connect quit his job, so I drank coffee with him to thank him. Why are you accusing me of dating another man? Also, am I the only one in that photo? Huh? Was I the only woman having fun? Did we drink? Was it in the evening? In this case, your hoobae assumed without any context. Why can’t you then tell him, Oh my wife must have been on a business meeting?
- Choi Dong Suk: That’s why I didn’t say anything to him.
- Park Ji Yoon: He is thinking that I cheated because you didn’t say anything. Huh? Did I ever ask you to protect me? Did I ask you for anything.
- Choi Dong Suk: Listen to me. And…
- Park Ji Yoon: I mean, you are telling me what that hoobae thought. The reason you did so is to tell me that you agreed with your hoobae.
- Choi Dong Suk: I am also upset.
- Park Ji Yoon: What are you upset about?
- Choi Dong Suk: Couldn’t you have not gone there?
- Park Ji Yoon: Of course, I had to have gone there.
In the revealed messages, the couple continue to bicker eventually even using profanities.
- Park Ji Yoon: No! The reason why I cursed is because I have the right to talk s*it about my husband with my friends and say f*ck, f*ck. But to you, that was enough to break up the family. I said we should get a divorce because you said you couldn’t live with me and you’re the one who turned the car around and got on his knees and begged me to not divorce you.
- Choi Dong Suk: You know why you’re so crazy? You’re saying that I am breaking up the family over a little cursing. Hey? A little cursing?
- Park Ji Yoon: Isn’t that why you’re divorcing me?
- Choi Dong Suk: A little cursing? Was your cursing just gossiping? All that cursing?
- Park Ji Yoon: If you were so faithful and so kind, would I have cursed? You got pissed every day.
- Choi Dong Suk: And so who did I gossip to?
- Park Ji Yoon: Who did I reveal this to? I only wrote in a group chat with my friends.
The communication between the couple breaks down from there and reaches a climax when Choi Dong Suk accuses Park Ji Yoon of soliciting advances from another man.
- Park Ji Yoon: Did I make you become a stay at home dad? That’s not true. If you’re going to make me stay home then pay for both of our children’s tuition and our living expenses.
- Choi Dong Suk: Nuna! Nuna, you’re my ideal type. Please introduce me to someone like you. My heart is fluttering. I miss you (Said by another man).
- Park Ji Yoon: Then should I tell him to shut the f*ck up and call him a f*cking bitch?
- Choi Dong Suk: I rather you tell him to shut the f*ck up.
- Park Ji Yoon: That’s why you have no manners towards others.
- Choi Dong Suk: If the man who was in another city told you he was going to come pick you up, you should’ve rejected him and told him not to come.
- Park Ji Yoon: I didn’t know he was hitting on me.
- Choi Dong Suk: Does that even make sense?
- Park Ji Yoon: Why doesn’t it make sense? It doesn’t make sense to you because you only view relationships with the opposite gender through the lens of sex, suspicion, and your fantasies. That is why to you everyone is hitting on me. If I drink coffee with a business acquaintance, you think I’m on a date. Do you think you wouldn’t have been mad if the man wasn’t in the photo at their business’ opening?
- Park Ji Yoon: Also, if a hoobae I became close with told me he wanted to see me since he was in Jeju-do (where the couple lives), what is wrong with him picking me up? Nope, I don’t think there is anything wrong with it.
- Choi Dong Suk: You’re wrong!
- Park Ji Yoon: No, I think I am right.
Dispatch later reveals that Park Ji Yoon was indeed meeting an employee from a business vendor on the day Choi Dong Suk alleges she cheated.
- Employee: Hello, Mrs. Ji Yoon! There were a lot of issues with meeting the deadline so I couldn’t say goodbye to you. I still have things to do at the office so if you have time I’d like to say hello. By any chance are you able to meet next Wednesday in the afternoon?
- Park Ji Yoon: Ah, I think I might be available in the late afternoon that day. Would it be alright if I leave you my availability later?
- Employee: Yes, you can tell me later, or if you’d like we can meet on another day.
- Park Ji Yoon: I see. I don’t think I’m going to have to change the date. I’ll just tell you the time after confirming my schedule.
- Employee: Yes, lol. I think I will be free next Thursday between 3 and 6pm.
- Park Ji Yoon: I see. I will tell you when I’m available during that time.
- Employee: Oh, that would be so great!
Meanwhile, Choi Dong Suk and Park Ji Yoon have been in a months-long feud over their divorce. Park Ji Yoon has since sued a woman who she alleges had an affair with her husband. The couple married in 2009.
