In the video, the star actor is seen holding hands with a woman while leaning on a car. The clips seem to have been filmed by someone from inside a waiting vehicle who is an acquaintance of the actor.
Most problematic is that it appears the actor is smoking a cigarette on the street. In Seoul, it is illegal to smoke cigarettes openly on the street, and smokers must use designated smoking areas.
Many netizens were shocked by the clip as Choi Hyun Wook is regarded as one of the brightest next-generation K-Drama stars. Despite only debuting in 2019, the actor has already played significant roles in several hit K-Dramas, including Twenty-Five Twenty-One, Taxi Driver, and Netflix‘s D.P.
