His agency, Bonboo ENT, addressed the rumors on March 26, calling them “fake news.”
According to Korean outlets, posts began circulating across YouTube, online forums, and blogs stating that Choo had covered the full cost of Kim Sae Ron’s funeral. Some posts described him as a “warm-hearted father figure” who felt deeply connected to the actress after working together on Channel A’s The Fishermen and the City: Palau Edition in 2019.
