Does Chuu Still Talk To LOONA? Chuu Seemingly Confirms Fans’ Suspicions

On November 25, BlockBerry Creative announced that Chuu had been kicked out of LOONA for verbally abusing the staff. Since then, many staff members have come to Chuu’s defense, showing their support for the idol.

Even when Dispatch released an exposé detailing conversations between BlockBerry Creative staff and Chuu, many netizens still defended Chuu. They even criticized BlockBerry Creative and Dispatch for trying to twist the narrative to make Chuu seem wrong for getting frustrated with the alleged ill-treatment she was receiving.

On November 28, it was reported that nine members of LOONA were filing an injunction to suspend their exclusive contracts with BlockBerry Creative. Although BlockBerry Creative denied the reports and shortly after announced an unexpected comeback for the group, fans of LOONA rallied together to hold a boycott against the comeback, not wanting to support the company’s treatment of the members.

The boycott was a success, as BlockBerry Creative announced on December 21 that they were postponing the comeback indefinitely.

Despite all the controversy, Chuu has continued to flourish with a packed schedule, keeping up with her YouTube channel Chuu Can Do It, releasing new music, and even attending a pre-recording for a major year-end stage, 2022 MBC Gayo Daejejeon.

At the 2022 MBC Gayo Daejejeon, Chuu will perform a collaboration stage covering KARA‘s “Step” with fellow ’99 line idols (G)I-DLE‘s Yuqi, Oh My Girl‘s Arin, Weki Meki‘s Yoojung, and soloist Choi Yena.

Fans were incredibly excited to see Chuu taking the stage again and couldn’t wait to show their support for the upcoming collaboration. However, Chuu’s fans reportedly couldn’t attend the pre-recording, although the other members of the collaboration stage ensured she felt supported.

Since Chuu was kicked out of LOONA, LOONA continued to show their support for Chuu, with Hyunjin even worrying fans that she might get in trouble for her candidly supportive messages.

Fans had assumed that Chuu was still talking to LOONA since the group always had such a close bond, but fans couldn’t be happier with Chuu’s seeming confirmation that she still keeps in close contact with the group.
