Netizens believe Chuu “shaded” her former company, BlockBerry Creative.
Chuu and BlockBerry Creative have been at trial after the company kicked the idol out of LOONA, alleging poor behavior on her part. There have been multiple trials since 2022 after Chuu filed a lawsuit against her former company, including one back in March.
Former LOONA Member Chuu Wins Second Trial Against BlockBerry Creative
According to news outlets, on June 27, the Supreme Court’s 3rd Division upheld the lower court’s ruling “in favor of Chuu in her appeal against Blockberry, confirming the invalidation of her exclusive contract.” It also explained that unless there are any legal violations in the lower court’s decisions, there can be no appeal.
After the news was released, Chuu posted a story of an image from the game Animal Crossing with the caption, “If you don’t want to lose, you just have to keep going until you win.”
Considering the timing of the post and everything that happened, it wasn’t surprising that netizens thought Chuu was alluding to what had happened with BlockBerry at the courts and was “shading” them.
