It has been reported that CJ E&M has invested 25 billion won to produce an upcoming 24 member boy group.In similar fashion to many programs that gained popularity quickly such as NO.MERCY, WHO IS NEXT, and MIX & MATCH, the company has decided to hand select the 24 members via a large audition process and training base.
After the first stage is complete, the members will perform every day for a year on a stage at a concert hall that will be built just for them.
The group will be managed by Live Works Company and is expected to to begin activities this August.
2016 seems set to be a big year indeed with announcements for comebacks from power rookies such as YG Entertainment’s WINNER, an intense trainee selection Produce 101, and an upcoming debut from companies such as Cube Entertainment and Woollim.
