Previously, a promotion schedule was dropped, revealing that a short film, concept photos, and a music video would be released for “FRI(END)S.”

Now, the short film has been released. It featured multiple artist videos that showed the word “friends” before leaving only “end.”

Since the short film dropped, eagle-eyed netizens noticed something. There was also a shot of a newspaper, which included a paragraph for a press release describing a new album. It listed five tracks and a bonus track, which is recommended to listen to from start to finish. This was almost identical to the statement BIGHIT MUSIC released ahead of Layover, V’s solo EP.

ARMYs believe that this inclusion in the short film is a clue. They suspect that “FRI(END)S” is technically a bonus track or extension of Layover.

Some are even beginning to think about a second album…

All the clues are coming together now. Another ARMY remembered how a spot was empty in inclusions from their Layover album.

V thought of everything!
