Comedian Kim Gura hospitalized for panic disorder
On December 18th, popular comedian, radio host, and MC Kim Gura was reported to have been hospitalized for panic disorder.
Initially, the entertainer was said to have entered the hospital after experiencing an odd ringing sensation in his ears. After further review, the doctors have ordered him to take a complete rest, and thus, Kim Gura has temporarily halted his appearance from all the shows he is currently partaking in. However, this sudden absence has no doubt left a big effect on the programs.
For the latest shootings of World Changing Quiz and the JTBC talk show Ssul Jeon on December 22nd and 26th, singer Kim Jang Hoon and TV personality Kim Sung Joo are scheduled to replace Kim Gura as the MCs.
While covering for the entertainer, Kim Jang Hoon revealed on the show of Ssul Jeon that he too, suffered from panic disorders, sharing that he is certain Kim Gura will be able to overcome his condition.
Kim Gura’s agency stated, “Even with chest pains and the ringing sensations in the ear, the panic disorder he was receiving treatment for since May of this year has worsened. We will need to watch over his progress but when he recovers he will return to his place. Please pray for him.”
Celebrities who have heard the news have voiced out their worry for the comedian, hoping for his quick recover. g.o.d’s Joon Park tweeted after meeting Kim Gura on an episode of Radio Star, “He didn’t seem very well, and I worry for him.”
