Super Rookie Group CRAVITY Soars To The Top Of Tower Records’ Album Chart
Although monster rookie group CRAVITY hasn’t made their official debut in Japan yet, they’ve already made a huge splash on the charts as they dominated the Album Chart of Japan’s Tower Records!
According to Tower Records’ official site, CRAVITY soared to the top of the weekly album chart for the week of August 24 through August 30. Their first full-length album CRAVITY SEASON 2 – HIDEOUT: THE NEW DAY WE STEP INTO, which was released on August 24, settled in perfectly at #1!
Having taken the no. 1 spot before even making their official debut in Japan, CRAVITY has not only proven their immense popularity but the group has also been raising expectations for their upcoming Japanese debut.
The group’s takeover of Tower Records’ Album Chart is just the latest achievement for the super group. Since making their debut in April, CRAVITY has consistently showcased their power ranking in the top 3 of iTunes‘ Top K-Pop Album Chart in 12 regions worldwide. They’ve also taken no. 4 on the global iTunes’ Album Chart with their debut album CRAVITY SEASON 1 – HIDEOUT: REMEMBER WHO WE ARE.
Additionally, they debuted at no. 12 on Billboard‘s Social 50 Chart and were named the best rookies for the first half of 2020 on Hanteo Chart at the end of June.
Now, with their latest release, CRAVITY has continued to rack up impressive feats including their Tower Records’ achievement and their first music show win with their title track “FLAME”.
Congratulations CRAVITY!
