Crayon Pop’s Choa Confesses To Suffering From Cancer

She hopes to become a beacon of light for others.

Crayon Pop‘s Choa recently confessed to suffering from endometrial cancer. Through her social media account, she shared a video of herself undergoing treatment. In the captions, she confessed her hardships to fans.

I am cautious in saying this as there are many who are suffering more than mself, but I think I am able to tell my story now, in hopes that it will be of help and hope to someone else. I too, received much comfort and help from other experienced people through a cancer-related community. Just as much as I have received, I hope to share and communicate with others in the future.

I was very healthy growing up, without so much as a small illness since young, so much that I prided myself on it. I even said that it was my wish to try fainting once. But I never imagined that I would be diagnosed with cancer in my 30s, and even underwent surgery for it. Looking back, I always ate junk food habitually, had a lack of sleep, and was plagued by stress. Now, I live a completely new life.

Although cancer took away many things from me, it also taught me a new direction in life as well as many other realizations. I am now much healthier than before and also more lively.

I have an upcoming surgery for fecundity. I removed my cervix, so it is a surgery that ties up the endometrium in advance. In the future, there will be many obstacles if I want to get pregnant and give birth, but I do want to become a mother of a pretty child, and be fully healed, becoming the hope and comfort to others who have similar experiences as myself.

Even if you are in a dark place or if it is very difficult now, please remember that it will past and I hope you never lose the thread of hope. I will share much useful content in the future so I hope that you will watch over me, and we can lead healthy lifestyles together! Thanks for reading my long post.
