Cube Entertainment Announces BTOB Will Not Renew Their Contracts
Cube Entertainment has announced they will not be renewing BTOB‘s contracts.
In a statement shared with media outlets including TV Daily, Cube Entertainment made their announcement.
Hello, this is Cube Entertainment.
We would like to share our official position regarding BTOB’s future activities.
We were carefully discussing with the BTOB members for a long time ahead of the expiration of their second contract with us. During those conversations, it was mutually decided that we will not renew our contract with each other.
With this, Cube Entertainment’s 11-year partnership with Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lee Changsub, Lim Hyunsik, Peniel, and Yook Sungjae will be concluded.
BTOB, who debuted on March 21, 2012, established themselves as a boy group representing the third generation of K-Pop with their outstanding singing skills and their music that was loved by the public.
We would like to thank BTOB for their performances as a member of Cube Entertainment and MELODY for always supporting the group.
Unfortunately, the relationship between Cube Entertainment and BTOB has come to an end but we will sincerely support their growth and future.
Please show your continued support to BTOB who are starting their new journey.

Cube Entertainment’s statement comes just hours after it was previously reported the BTOB members refused to renew their contracts due to trademark disputes.
