After seven years since their debut, female duo Davichi has finally announced the official name of their fan club via their SNS account on January 24th.
In a notice, Davichi’s agency informed their followers on Facebook that the group had unanimously chosen the name of their fan club as DAVICHI CHORD. “Chord” was chosen to represent additional notes of music. The announcement post further reveals that the application event for the fan club will be shared soon as well.
Along with the post, Davichi shares a hand drawn drawing of a person giving a deep bow of respect, thanking fans for all the delicious food sent to them for their showcasing, and read, “DAVICHI CHORD – We ate well. Thank you.”
Davichi made their debut under Core Contents Media in 2008, leaving their agency in July 2014, and signed an exclusive contract with CJ E&M under the management MMO Entertainment. Under their new agency, Davichi has not only finally set up their fan club, but SNS presence through Twitter and Facebook.
Meanwhile, they have recently released their mini-album Davichi Hug, and is promoting with two title tracks, “Cry Again” and “Sorry, I’m Happy.”
