DAY6’s Wonpil To Push Back His Solo Debut Activities

They will release the rescheduled comeback activities at a later time.

DAY6’s Wonpil, who was originally supposed to make his solo debut on February 7 KST, will be postponing his comeback. Recently, JYP Entertainment released a statement regarding the sudden change in schedule.

Hello this is JYP Entertainment. Earlier today, a staff member that works with Wonpil tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member did not show any symptoms, but tested positive on February 6 with a self-diagnosis kit. Wonpil also took a test and received a negative result. However, he preemptively took a PCR test and is waiting for results. Wonpil currently does not have any symptoms related to COVID-19 such as a fever or respiratory symptoms.

Regardless of the test results, he will be going into self-quarantine for one week for preemptive measures. Due to this, we will be postponing his comeback. We will inform you once again after rescheduling his activities. (The LIVE TALK for his first album will continue as scheduled as it was pre-recorded last Friday).

We apologize for causing concerns and we promise to continue to follow the rules according to the health authorities and ensure the safety and health of our artists and staff members. Thank you.
