DEAN Updates Fans On The Progress Of His Long-Awaited Comeback
Korean R&B artist DEAN updated fans on Instagram about what he’s been working on for the past two years!
To many people, it may seem like DEAN disappeared following the release of his debut and only EP 130 mood: TRBL (2016), which received praise from critics around the globe, and his hit song “Instagram” (2017), which topped charts in Korea. While DEAN has released more singles since, such as “Howlin’ 404” in 2019, fans have been eagerly anticipating a new album from the artist.
One of his last updates was on February 11, 2020, when he posted photos on Instagram and hinted towards an album titled 130 mood: RVNG.
DEAN has been collaborating with other artists, featuring on songs such as “Troll” from IU‘s album Lilac (2021). However, fans have been eagerly anticipating new music from DEAN himself.

DEAN posted on his Instagram story on September 21 to give an update on the progress of his new music. His post revealed dozens of files dating back to June 25, 2020, showing just how hard DEAN has been working since his last solo release.
My team and I have built, destroyed, built again, only to destroy again. We rode this out so many times and went through so much trial and error since 2019.
Dear fans, please hang in there just a little longer. Love you all.
Let me show you how I’m different.
I’m just a workaholic.

While there are no more details about when DEAN may release new music or what kind of music it’ll be, fans can rest assured that the artist is working as hard as ever. We have no doubt in our minds that his next project will be as incredible as the last!
