“Dear. M” Representatives Tentatively Announce August Broadcast
K-Drama Dear. M was one of 2021’s highly anticipated dramas. Not only is it a spin-off of the much-loved Love Playlist series, but the drama is also NCT Jaehyun‘s first-ever acting role. Fans were all geared up to see their favorite star on the small screen.
However, things took a turn when leading actress, Park Hye Su, fell into controversy. Although Dispatch had cleared up her bullying accusations, the general public’s disbelief at the matter and the exposers’ continued accusations put a pause on the airing of the drama. Originally slated for February 2021, Dear. M remained up in the air — until now.
The team for Dear. M announced that the drama has been tentatively set for air in August 2021. However, the production team is unable to make promises at the moment. They will be continuing to monitor the situation with Park Hye Su and will confirm the release date when the controversy is solved. For now, Dear. M has been registered under the lineup for the latter half of 2021 on KBS.
Dear. M tells the tale of a secret confession that goes up on Seoyeon University’s anonymous announcements page. The cast goes on a journey to find out just who the OP is.
