New Details About ENHYPEN’s Documentary Disappoint Fans
In February 2024, a casting call looking for fans of ENHYPEN revealed that a documentary was in the works.
One of the producers of BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky, Cara Mones, shared a flyer with details, revealing that actress Reese Witherspoon‘s company, Hello Sunshine, was involved in the production.
A documentary is a big deal for any group and a chance to show the world what happens behind the scenes. K-Pop documentaries have been praised for allowing stars to be seen in ways unlike before.
However, the recent announcement giving more details about the documentary has resulted in some disappointment from fans.
According to official releases, the documentary, titled FANMADE, will follow five ENHYPEN fans as they collaborate with the group “and revel in the joy of putting their passion out into the world.”
The documentary highlights the Engene community, following five female fans as they co-create new material alongside the band, ignite the fanbase to collaborate, and revel in the joy of putting their passion out into the world. Dancing between Enhypen fans and the band themselves, the film utilizes unprecedented and intimate access alongside the band members as they travel across the US for their Fate Plus world tour.
— FANMADE‘s synopsis
While the premise of fans creating something for ENHYPEN is interesting, some have expressed disappointment. This disappointment was only furthered by the resurfacing of a video made by the casting team that stated “this is not a fan project for ENHYPEN, this is a documentary about ENHYPEN fans” and that the project was “less about ENHYPEN, more about the fans.”

Many were expecting the documentary to focus on ENHYPEN, rather than fans, and as a result has caused some loss in interest.
"less about enhypen and more about the fans"
so this confirms that the spotlight is really on those 5 girls and not much abt enha behind the scenes 🥲pic.twitter.com/KtHrZusyC5
