Further Details Of Yoo Ah In’s Sexual Assault Accusations Exposed
New information has surfaced in the rape case involving prominent actor Yoo Ah In, who is accused of sexually assaulting a man in his 30s.
Yoo — whose real name is Uhm Hong Sik — is reportedly in the process of arranging his appearance before the authorities as he continues to deny the allegations against him.
During a press briefing held on August 12, a representative from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency provided updates on the investigation.
The police confirmed that they had conducted both a sexual assault evidence collection and a urine test on the alleged victim.
Additionally, the authorities interviewed several key witnesses who were connected to the case. These include a woman who was reportedly with Yoo Ah In during the incident, the individual who provided the location where the assault allegedly occurred, and the taxi driver who was involved.
The complaint against Yoo was filed by a man in his 30s — identified as Mr. A — who claims that he was sexually assaulted by the actor while sleeping at a private residence in Seoul on July 14. According to the complaint, Mr. A was asleep from 6 AM until 4 PM — during which time the assault allegedly took place. Mr. A has consistently accused Yoo Ah In of being the sole perpetrator, despite another individual being present at the scene.
As the investigation progresses, the police are considering various possibilities, given that Yoo Ah In is already facing legal proceedings for habitual drug use. As such, Yoo’s legal troubles continue to intensify.
