Director Bong Joon Ho Picked To Present At The Upcoming Oscars
Director of award-winning movie Parasite Bong Joon Ho has been selected as one of the 15 presenters for the upcoming Academy Awards.
Last year, Parasite won four Oscars: Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best International Feature Film, and was the first non-English language movie to win the Best Picture award.
It has not been specified which award each of the 15 presenters will present, but it has been speculated that Bong Joon Ho will be in charge of Best Director. The names of some of the other presenters have also been released, which include Halle Berry, Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon and more.
This year’s Academy Awards will take place on April 25 in multiple venues across the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
