Disgraced Idol Surprisingly Booked And Busy Following Drug And Tax Evasion Scandals
Former SM Entertainment idol and JYJ member Park Yoochun has recently seen a massive uptick in his activities.

After an extended dispute, the two sides reached an agreement to terminate contracts and not interfere with future activities, though the three members did face a media blacklisting til recently.
The three idols later re-debuted as JYJ in 2010, though Yoochun’s activities in the group would end with his announced retirement in 2019, linked to his ongoing controversies. He was arrested on suspicions of illegal drug use, ultimately admitting to purchasing and using methamphetamine.
Yoochun was sentenced to ten months imprisonment, suspended for two years, and a fine of ₩1.40 million KRW (about $1,000 USD). In 2023, he was also named in a list of tax evaders.
This year, the idol faced another controversy, this time being sued by his former manager for unpaid wages.
