When B.A.P debuted, they were active as a group of six, which only changed as members left their old company, TS Entertainment.  These days, member Zelo is serving out his mandatory military enlistment while Bang Yongguk, Daehyun, Youngjae, and Moon Jongup are active as solo artists and as members of Bang & Jung & Yoo & Moon due to issues with using the name B.A.P.

The remaining debut member, Himchan, has not been involved with the group since his first sexual assault charge in 2018. Since then, Himchan has been convicted of three sexual assault charges in total and given what many consider to be light punishments.

Even after his initial conviction, the former member continued working as an idol, but has been MIA recently.

On December 5, this changed as the idol’s X account suddenly became active, sharing a now deleted-tweet explaining the name change of his account. The tweet also said that he was not B.A.P and that he hated B.A.P.

Another tweet by the former idol had an image of a firework exploding along with the message that “B.A.P is done.” While there may have been thoughts the tweets were made by a hacker, Himchan seemingly posted a new photo of himself on the account as well.

The account has also been deleted, with no explanation for the sudden outburst.

Meanwhile, the active members of B.A.P will release a special Christmas album on December 18.
