Korean Netizens Furious At Disney+’s Decision Regarding Release of Kim Soo Hyun’s Upcoming Drama

As the controversy with actor Kim Soo Hyun and the late Kim Sae Ron grows, an official statement has been released regarding his upcoming Disney+ drama, Knockoff.
On March 21, Disney+ revealed its position to media outlets.
After careful discussion, we have decided to put the release for ‘Knockoff’ on hold.

The show was originally scheduled to premiere this year, and there was speculation that it would be released as early as April as most of the production was complete.
With these speculations, industry insiders revealed that being a global company like Disney+, Kim Soo Hyun would most likely be held liable for financial damages caused by personal issues.
However, this also raised the possibility that the release date would not only be postponed, but could also never be released.
