Dispatch Reveals Recorded Phone Call Between Actress Kim Hieora And Alleged Bullying Victim
Following the bullying allegations against actress Kim Hieora, Dispatch has continued to reveal evidence after evidence against the star. Kim Hieora was accused of being a part of an iljin (delinquent) gang in her schooling days. The victim claimed to have experienced monetary extortion and bullying by the actress. On the other hand, others have stepped up to defend the actress. Kim Hieora herself has firmly denied claims of bullying, admitting to being a bystander as part of the group.
In May 2023, Kim Hieora also met up with other alumni, “A,” “B,” “C,” and “D.” “A” was the first one to tip-off Dispatch. The others provided corroborative accounts. Dispatch helped arranged a meeting between the four and Kim Hieora, so that they could receive an apology. Dispatch was not made privy to the contents of this conversation, as they stepped out of it, to respect those involved. At the end of it, “A” told Dispatch not to write an article using the materials she provided in the tip-off. That was the last that Dispatch heard of from “A.”
On September 9, 2023, Dispatch revealed records of a phone call between the alleged victim (thereafter referred to as “V”) and Kim Hieora (thereafter referred to as “KH”). The phone call took place on September 8, 2023.
”V” was one of the alumni that Kim Hieora searched for in May 2023. Although Kim Hieora managed to meet up with other alumni to apologize, she did not manage to meet “V.” “V” is an alleged victim.
- V: You’re probably out of it.
- KH: Because so many calls have been coming.
- [10 seconds of silence]
- V: I knew that things would blow up sooner or later.
- KH: That’s right. I’m sorry.
- V: You were the one who hit me the most, I think. Is that right?
- KH: [silence]
- V: You called me after The Glory ended, right?
- KH: That’s right.
- V: Why did you call? Ora, be honest. If you wanted to truly apologize, you would’ve called me before The Glory. But I heard that someone gave Dispatch a tip-off about your school bullying after the show ended?
- KH: Because [I was contacted about it], I called you up.
- V: If that didn’t happen, you wouldn’t have called.
- KH: I thought about you guys. Honestly, even before it happened…
- V: Ora, I honestly only can see this as an excuse. Do you get what I mean?
- KH: I can see why you’d think so.
- V: Right? So what?
- KH: I’m sorry.
- V: So you admit to having hit me?
- KH: I’m sorry. So sorry.
- V: What do you have to be sorry about? This is the truth. I’ve been waiting for this moment.
- KH: Can we meet up once?
- V: What could be the reason that I don’t want to meet you, and have just waited all this while? The other kids met you already. You looked up “E,” “F,” and “G.” And so what could be the reason that I’m not meeting you? Why do I have to?
- KH: Is what you want from me, an admission?
- V: From you? Of course.
- KH: In that case, I admit it. But if you use this as a tip-off, all of your identities will be revealed.
- V: Our identities? Why?
- KH: What’s important isn’t the truth or lies.
- V: Ora, we’re the victims and you’re the perpetrator. Our identities? What about it? We’re not the ones who committed crimes. It’s you.
- KH: I’ll apologize to you sincerely every time you need me to. I’m so sorry.
- V: Ora, you must be suffering now, right? But so what? You have to suffer more, more and more. I’ve been waiting for this moment. Did you think that you could become famous even knowing all this? How impressive.
- KH: What do I have to do to ease your anger?
- V: What do you have to do? Ora… Ugh.
- KH: Can’t we meet up once?
- V: Why do I have to meet you? There’s a reason for me not meeting you. If not, I’d have met up with you in the first place. Right? If I meet you, it means that I accept your apology.
- KH: You don’t have to accept it.
- V: Ora, I’d rather you just acknowledge it and go into reflection. That’ll do. Don’t just keep saying that you didn’t do it.
- KH: I didn’t say that I didn’t do it all.
Kim Hieora was careful not to admit it at this point. She did not deny, neither did she acknowledge it.
- V: So you didn’t hit me?
- KH: Every day, relentlessly, I…[redacted] You…
- V: You hit me after calling me to the noraebang, outside… You bullied only me. Every day.
- KH: I went to the academy too… I wasn’t with the gang every day…
- V: You said that you didn’t physically or verbally abuse people. That you were going to take strong legal action.
- KH: About that…
- V: How can you say that? How bold of you.
- KH: [silence]
- V: Speak, Ora. You said you were just a bystander. You said that with your own mouth. But you’re not just a bystander. Did you not hit us? Did you not hit me?
- KH: [silence]
- V: You bullied me the most. I don’t get it.
- KH: I have my own recollections of it.
- V: I was tending to errands. You said, “Hey you b*tch, if you don’t hurry over, I’ll hit F and G.” I remember it. It was a rainy day, at the alley near [redacted] Middle School. You hit F until her nose bled that day.
- KH: Me?
- V: Yeah. You don’t remember it.
- KH: I talked with F. F too, she…
- V: I knew that your bullying matters would explode one day. I waited for it. That’s why I didn’t contact or meet you. Do you know what I mean?
- KH: Yeah.
- V: You’ve been earning money all this while. So it’s now time for you to go into reflection. Right? Bystander? That’s not it…
Kim Hieora repeatedly asked the victim to meet up. Kim Hieora and the victim were close friends in year one, but their relationship turned sour by the next year.
- KH: I wanted to meet up and…
- V: Be honest. You hit us. You bullied us.
- KH: I honestly don’t remember everything. But it’s true that I was like that to you.
- V: You remember being like that to me?
- KH: We got along just fine in year one.
- V: What’s the use of that?
- KH: That’s why I thought of you more. Because I thought that the betrayal and hurt you felt would’ve been bigger.
- V: You bullied me especially more.
- KH: I’m sorry. The reason why I’m holding out on this, is because if this gets publicized, the other kids who didn’t bully people would have their identities revealed too. More people would be hurt because of me.
- V: Why can’t their real names be revealed? Everyone was part of Big Sangji (gang).
- KH: Do you remember [redacted] and [redacted]?
- V: The Big Sangji kids who didn’t cause physical abuse? Those kids are the true bystanders you talked about.
- KH: [silence]
- V: Those kids are all bystanders. The bystanders you talked about.
- KH: If you ever give me a chance to meet you, Iet me apologize in person.
- V: I don’t want to hear your apologies. If I wanted to, I’d have met you like the other kids did. I’ve just wanted for this moment. So I hope that you continue to eat well. Know what I mean?
- KH: I’m sorry for making things hard for you all this while.
- V: Let’s end this conversation here. I’m hanging up.
“V,” the victim, allegedly experienced huge mental and physical pain due to Kim Hieora. She hopes that Kim Hieora’s bullying allegations follow her for a long time.
