Listen well to your professors. Get along well with the students. And uhm…go to sleep early. You need to wake up early.

Kai also held a phone call with Changsub and expressed his concern about being tricked for the show.

Changsub: How have you been?

Kai: I was discharged today.

Changsub: Today? Oh, there’s one thing you should be careful about. Making promises recklessly can be problematic.

Kai: So I feel like I’ve been tricked. I said I was discharged yesterday, right? Suddenly, they asked if I’m planning to join the military.

Changsub: Hahahahhaa.

However, netizens were divided on the news of Kai being the new host.

  • “No…it’s not that I don’t like Kai, but for Jeongwaja, it has to be Changsub.”
  • “Although it’s unfortunate, we have to support and respect Changsub’s decision to leave as he is doing it for his work and health. I don’t think we have to worry about Kai either because he is already known for his wit and humor.”
  • “I think Changsub is leaving at just the right time. I think Kai will do well. I support both of them.”
  • “I feel like the show is going from relatable to celebrity status. I feel like Kai won’t be interested in the different majors in college and will just go around like its some idol fan meeting…”

Meanwhile, season six of the series is set to premiere on March 20.
