“I Have To Do My Best” — LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon Shares Whether Or Not She Feels Competitive With Other Former IZ*ONE Members
LE SSERAFIM‘s Chaewon was one of the twelve members of IZ*ONE, the temporary group created through the reality survival program, Produce 48.
The group was only active until 2021, going their separate ways and making debuts as solo acts and in groups. Chaewon and Sakura debuted in LE SSERAFIM, while others like Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin joined IVE.
Recently, Chaewon appeared on Lee Youngji‘s My Alcohol Diary where she discussed her former members, giving fans much-desired IZ*ONE crumbs.
First, when Youngji asks if Chaewon watched previous episodes, she replies that she watched “a lot,” mentioning that she began watching when Wonyoung first appeared on the show during its first season.
Later in the show, after talking about LE SSERAFIM’s most recent release, “Unforgiven (featuring Niles Rogers),” Youngji says that “there have been a lot of changes,” and Chaewon agrees. Youngji mentions Yujin and Choi Yena as examples of each of the IZ*ONE members finding their way or “color” in the industry.
Chaewon says that she is amazed that everything went so well with IZ*ONE and their post-disbandment activities. Adorably, when Youngji talks about how Yujin filmed the show a few weeks ago, Chaewon says she misses her.
Youngji states that watching their activities after IZ*ONE somewhat felt like a competition, which Chaewon denies, saying that not only are she and Yujin finding success, but the other members are doing well also.
Chaewon continues by saying that she gained a lot of motivation from watching the other members and that they positively influence each other. She says that even though they have all grown a lot since IZ*ONE, they all feel the same toward each other!
