DPR Fans Call Out AI-Usage In Meet & Greet Photos

DPR IAN, DPR CREAM, and DPR ARTIC are currently on their THE DREAM REBORN WORLD TOUR 2024.

One of the ticket options available was a Meet & Greet package, which allowed fans to meet the artists and take a group photo with them.

While fans were happy to get photos with DPR IAN, DPR CREAM, and DPR ARTIC, they were disappointed to realize that the team editing the photos had resorted to using AI (Artificial Intelligence). AI is already controversial, as it’s known to use artists’ work to train the system. Many also fear AI replacing people in jobs.

i was so excited to get my dpr m&g photos but now that i’m really looking at it, whatever they used to edit the photos was horrendous

When AI was used to edit the Meet & Greet photos, fans complained that it messed up their photos so much that they barely recognized themselves. Some even lost body parts and features.

Many fans are disappointed and frustrated.

I firmly believe that if you buy M&G and they give you a photo that they edited with AI and all your facial/body features are messed up then you should be able to get a refund

it’s highly discouraging to see that they’ve resorted to using ai what with knowing how detrimental it can be environmentally, while also being aware of how much money was spent on dreamer’s end just for the photos being released to have fans not look anything like themselves

you can still be grateful for having gotten the photo experience while also being upset with the excessive ai use in the editing process. you should be able to recognize the person looking back at you in those photos. your frustrations are completely valid
