According to recent reports, the singer has filed a request with the US District Court for the Northern District of California, San Jose division, asking Google to disclose the identity of the owner of the channel BBR Detective Agency.

The channel’s owner, identified as “A,” is accused of spreading multiple false rumors about Park. The YouTuber has claimed that Jay Park smuggled drugs and engaged in illegal cryptocurrency deals and even accused him of being connected to the Chinese Triad.

“A” claimed that Koala, who is also an acquaintance of Jessi, is a member of the Chinese Triad, and he supplies drugs to Korean hip-hop artists. In support of this claim, “A” released footage showing Koala inside the building of Jay Park’s label MORE VISION and images of him with Park.

In a separate video, “A” claimed that Jay Park was involved in illegal crypto trading. They made this speculation based on the fact that he and Jessi performed at the ‘Rolling Loud 2023 Thailand OKX Stage’ and that OKX is a cryptocurrency exchange.

These videos on the BBR Detective Agency channel have garnered millions of views. Jay Park responded to the accusations by suing “A” in January 2024 at the Seoul Central District Court. However, verifying the channel owner’s identity in Korea was impossible, as YouTube’s parent company, Google, is based in the US. So, Jay Park filed another discovery request in a US Court last month. The case is currently under review by Judge Eumi K. Lee.

Meanwhile, Jay Park recently garnered attention after being mentioned by singer Chungha during an interview, hinting at a discord between the two. Read more about it here:
