Dua Lipa Proceeds With Korea Concert Despite Martial Law Panic
Dua Lipa will be continuing with her concert in Seoul. The concerts were scheduled for December 4 and 5, 2024, just a day after President Yoon Suk Yeol suddenly declared martial law across the nation.
The president caused major panic when he announced the law on December 3, 2024. It was quickly lifted by 3am the next day. Although many had adviced artists to put a halt to their activities before the martial law was lifted, with the lifting of the law, it seems like concerts will proceed. Live Nation Korea announced that Dua Lipa’s concert would continue.
Fans had previously been worried. They spotted Dua and her family on the streets of Korea when the announcement was reported in the news.
Some had even worried for her safety, calling her “stranded” in South Korea.
