Eagle-Eyed ARMY Theorizes New BTS Sub-Units For Upcoming Album
BTS took Las Vegas by storm during the past three weeks with the 2022 GRAMMYs and their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concerts.
They concluded their Las Vegas events with a huge announcement, though. At their final show, a video teaser was shown, which first highlighted BTS’s previous works and then, with the words “WE ARE BULLETPROOF” read in the members’ voices, it ended with the date “2022.06.10” shown.
Much to ARMYs’ excitement, it was the announcement of BTS’s comeback. We Are Bulletproof will be the group’s first full album two years after BE.

ARMYs have been anticipating the album and theorizing what we can expect from it. Most believe that it will be a return to BTS’s hip-hop roots. Not only is BTS confirmed to be collaborating with Snoop Dogg, but Suga previously revealed that we “shouldn’t have to wait too long” for new hip-hop songs.

Now, ARMY suspect the potential sub-units. As you likely already know, BTS albums will usually contain not only OT7 songs but also solos and those done by sub-units.
Some popular sub-unit tracks include the rap line’s cyphers and Jimin and V‘s duet “Friends.”
Now, an ARMY has put together clues to figure out the sub-units for the new album.
The eagle-eyed ARMY (@kosmicyoon on Twitter) pointed out that all the BTS members are currently divided up on Instagram in three color schemes according to profile pictures. J-Hope and Jimin are orange, Suga and Jin are blue, and RM, Jungkook, and V are black-and-white.

Another interesting thing to be noted is that these sub-units all have something in common. They are divided up according to the original living arrangements. Suga and Jin had been roommates. Likewise, J-Hope and Jimin were roommates and have even been said to live together still. Also, RM and V shared a room while Jungkook roomed by himself. Considering the album is about returning to their beginnings, it seems valid.
