One In Millions: ENHYPEN Names The Fan Who Made The Biggest Impact On Them
ENHYPEN recently sat down for an interview with ELLE where they delved deeper into topics such as the artist they want to collaborate with, the moment they first felt their popularity, their love for their fans, and more.
Regarding the latter subject, they were asked to name the fan who made the biggest impact on them. Leader Jungwon answered the question without hesitation. He chose the person who was vital in making ENHYPEN’s name better known worldwide.
For me, it was when we met our fan who made the ‘Polaroid Love’ challenge.
— Jungwon
Last January 2022, the group went viral after TikTok creator Reiner Acuario (@reeenier) made a choreography to match the chorus of their song “Polaroid Love.” It quickly became the hottest dance challenge on the internet, garnering the attention of fans and non-fans alike.
@reeeiner I love this song 🥺😭 dc: me ✨ #enhypen #polaroidlove #dancechallenge #fyp #MustBeNice
Because of the challenge, ENHYPEN reached new heights in terms of popularity. “Polaroid Love” may have been a B-Side track from their album DIMENSION : ANSWER yet it managed to chart even higher than the title track “Blessed-Cursed.” It even became their first song to enter MelOn‘s Top 100 chart.
Meeting the person who started it all was especially meaningful to ENHYPEN. They were able to extend their gratitude to him in KCON Los Angeles which was last held in 2022.
It was amazing to meet them in person at KCON LA.

To both ENHYPEN and Reiner Acuario, the “Polaroid Love” dance challenge was a turning point in their lives.
Jay: It was cool. I could sort of feel a sense of pride from them.
