ENHYPEN‘s most recent photoshoot — meant to celebrate the Chuseok holiday in traditional Korean attire — has quickly gained traction online. However, it has unfortunately not gone viral for the reasons the group or their fans might have hoped.
While the members looked undeniably handsome in their elegant attire, the heavy-handed editing and extreme filters applied to the photos have left netizens unimpressed, to say the least.
The photos, which feature the members dressed in soft pastel hanboks against brightly colored backdrops, were intended to capture the festive spirit of Chuseok. Sadly, many fans and casual viewers alike have expressed disappointment with the final product, stating that the editing is so severe that it distracts from the members’ natural looks.
Some even likened the overexposed photos to “ghost concepts” or “rituals,” with the members’ pale, airbrushed skin drawing attention for all the wrong reasons.
The original post — which went viral on TheQoo — questioned why such young idols in their early twenties needed such drastic edits. The post quickly went viral, garnering over 35,000 views and nearly 500 comments. Many netizens expressed similar sentiments, criticizing the editing choices and lamenting the loss of the group’s natural charm under layers of digital filters.
Why are they using such extreme filters on kids who are barely 20 years old… Can’t they just give us the original versions?
