ENHYPEN’s Park Sunghoon Reunites With “The Glory” Actor Park Sung Hoon To Recreate An Iconic Scene From The K-Drama
It seems like ENHYPEN‘s Sunghoon could possibly be teasing a future acting career with his recent content.
Since debuting, ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon has proved he can do it all. After starting as a figure skater, he made the seamless transition to being an idol and wowed netizens whenever he went on stage.
Well, it seems like a career in acting could be on the cards after the idol recreated a scene from the hit K-Drama The Glory with an unexpected guest.
Of course, The Glory was one of the most popular shows worldwide, and it gained attention for its chilling storyline and amazing actors. One of those is none other than ENHYPEN Sunghoon’s name twin, Park Sung Hoon, who plays Jeon Jae Jun.
Although he was definitely one of the worst characters in the show, the actor’s good looks meant he was many netizens’ guilty pleasure.
On March 10, ENHYPEN released a video of the two Sung Hoons interacting with each other on YouTube.
The main video doesn’t have subtitles, but the duo treated fans more with a recreation of an iconic The Glory scene. During the series, Jae Jun stormed into his daughter Ye Sol’s school to beat up a teacher who was taking inappropriate pictures of the young children.
On TikTok, Sunghoon and Park Sung Hoon hilariously recreated the scene. Like the original scene, Park Sung Hoon walked in asking, “Where’s Park Sunghoon?” Of course, the idol changed the dialogue by replying, “How did you come to HYBE?”
When asked how he got there, like in the OG scene, Park Sung Hoon replied, “By car.”
Yet, rather than going to beat up Sunghoon, the scene was changed drastically as the actor suddenly reached into his coat pocket and pulled out the ENHYPEN lightstick, called the ENGENE BONG. They then came together for a cute ending while both holding the lightstick.
Of course, when the video was shared, netizens couldn’t get over the unexpected collaboration. Many couldn’t help but anticipate a future career for Sunghoon as an actor, and others joked that the video was a deleted scene from the series.
Of course, it isn’t the first time the two Sung Hoons have interacted. Whether it was at an awards show or on Park Sung Hoon’s Instagram, it’s not surprising that this collaboration was something netizens didn’t think they needed until now.
While The Glory has finished, ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon has brought it back to the forefront for netizens and even has ENGENEs hoping for a future acting debut.
