ENHYPEN’s Video With KATSEYE Earns Mixed Reactions
In late July, KCON LA 2024 took place, with many groups gracing the stage over the festival’s three days.
Like any event where many idols attend, fans were excited to see any possible interactions between their favorite groups. This includes dance challenge videos where groups will do each others’ dances.
ENHYPEN, one of the groups attending, seemed to have filmed some videos with other groups.

Usually, these videos are well-received, but the group’s video with new girl group KATSEYE received some mixed reactions.
KATSEYE recently made their debut with “Debut” ahead of the release of their first album in August.
KATSEYE were announced as one of the opening acts for day three of KCON, and were able to film dance challenges for their latest single “Touch” with other stars attending. This included ENHYPEN, with KATSEYE’s Manon and Yoonchae filming with ENHYPEN’s Heeseung and Ni-ki.

Many were excited to see the idols interact with each other, commenting these thoughts on the TikTok.
Others found the clip to be a bit awkward, commenting on how ENHYPEN performed the song. Some had some harsher thoughts about the two members’ “masculinization” of the song’s dance.

However, many fans pointed out that another boy group dance similarly, meaning there may be some alternative choreography that was shown to ENHYPEN. Fans also felt that the small space also contributed to the somewhat awkward vibes that many felt.

Though there seems to have been some complaints, many were were still happy to see opposite sex groups interact with each other.
