In a post on X that has gone viral, ENHYPEN‘s Sunghoon has been accused of spitting out gum on stage. Sunghoon was videoed spitting gum into a tissue.
What invited criticism was not the fact that he had been chewing gum during a concert, but that he seemed to have casually thrown it away on stage.

Netizens were disapproving, harshly criticizing his lack of manners. A small portion defended him, claiming that it was a soundcheck not a concert, and that he had spat it into a tissue, where it could be disposed off later on.
- As a fan who really likes Park Sunghoon, I can feel that his attitude has changed somewhat recently. Although it pains me if people just bash him like that, he does need to change what is necessary. I don’t know where or when he started to change, but this isn’t the Sunghoon I fell for.
