On January 7th, K-Pop Night Out revealed its lineup for the annual SXSW showcase. Fans in the area will get to see performances from Hitchhiker, Epik High, Crayon Pop, The Barberettes, Asian Chairshot, EE, and Eastern Sidekick.
The performances are highly anticipated by fans as Hitchhiker will be making a debut live stage for those present. Epik High recently caught American media attention with their CNN exclusive earlier. Meanwhile, The Barberettes will bring fans back to the 1950s and 1960s with their retro harmonies and style. On the rock side, Asian Chairshot and Eastern Side Kick will present music reminiscent of Radiohead and The Strokes. Finally, EE is a creative part performance, part art group with a hip hop twist.
Hosted by KOCCA for the third consecutive year, the event will take place on March 19th at Elysium in Austin, Texas.
Previous acts that have performed at the conference include f(x), Jay Park, Nell, HyunA, and Geeks.
